Voice Instruction
Our teachers believe that a healthy vocal technique is the basis for all styles of singing. We work with our students to build an awareness of breath and body alignment that will facilitate free and expressive vocalization. Each student is carefully assigned a selection of varied repertoire that is appropriate for his or her voice. If the student expresses interest, we are delighted to work on music in foreign languages; all of our voice teachers are qualified to coach foreign language diction and aid in translation techniques. Bravissimo takes pride in developing well-rounded musicians, so you can expect your voice lessons to incorporate a few minutes of theory fundamentals topics (such as note-reading and piano basics) if you do not already possess these skills.
