Experience
Soprano Kate Emerman has performed in opera, oratorio, and chamber music in notable venues such as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. She has performed in concert on stages from Anchorage, Alaska, to Vienna, Austria. Kate is a winner of the Franz Schubert Institut Grant, Marian Marcus Wahl Memorial Award, the Mary Cassetta Competition, and the Alaska Young Artist Award, and has won numerous awards with the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Kate began teaching voice through the Metropolitan Opera Guild as a teaching artist-in-residence intern, and now maintains a private voice studio in Manhattan.
