Experience
Kari’s versatile and adventurous playing spans the spectrum of musical arts, from symphony orchestra and contemporary chamber concerts to working with electronics. Kari has performed internationally as an orchestral musician, chamber musician, and featured soloist, and has given premieres of numerous pieces. Performing with some of the world’s top artists including Phil Myers, Matt Haimovitz, and Trey Anastasio, Kari has been involved in wide-ranging musical collaborations such as those with the Manhattan Camerata, M + T Incubator Electronic Music Conference, and International Computer Music Festival. She has studied or taken classes with oboists Theodore Baskin, Normand Forget, and David Walter.
