Policies for Adults
Enrollment Period
We are dedicated to providing excellent instruction that fits your lifestyle. While we encourage regular lessons, we understand that for most adult students, music is just one of many wonderful activites in which you participate. Whether you enjoy a lesson
a week, or once a month, we have a package that’s right for you.
Lesson Length
We offer 45-, 60-, and 90-minute lessons to accommodate all abilities, schedules, and budgets.
Early Termination
There are no refunds on adult lesson packages. We encourage you to purchase a trial lesson and ask your Student-Tutor Liaison to help you decide which package is right for you.
A La Carte
Whether you're not sure if music lessons are for you, or you only need a few sessions to refresh your technique, we offer a la carte lessons in the quantity that's right for you.
Semi-Private Tutoring
Two students with similar abilities, musical goals, and compatible schedules can share a tutor’s hourly fee. Speak with your Student-Tutor Liaison to arrange for semi-private lessons.
Cancellation Notice
We request 24 hours’ notice for any lesson cancellation except in the case of emergency or sudden illness. Late cancellations will incur a full charge and make-up sessions are not guaranteed in these cases.
Billing
The first payment for each lesson package is due before lessons may begin. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and checks (make checks payable to Bravissimo).
Evaluation
Adult students may request written progress reports twice per year, in January and June. They will also have the opportunity to receive tutor feedback by performing in juries and recitals.
