James Rosenblum, 29, is now beginning his third career as a concert pianist and teacher. The eldest from a musical family, James started piano lessons at age six and later studied at Yale University with Natalie Zhu, Sara Laimon, and Melvin Chen. His musical education includes the Aspen Music Festival, and private study with Arkady Aronov, professor at the Manhattan School of Music, and Julian Martin, professor at the Juilliard School. Notable performances include Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto with an orchestra conducted by Charles Neidich (April 2010) and Chopin's Barcarolle at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (2009).
