James Edmondson Hasspacher or “Eddie” studied classical double bass with Donald Palma at the Yale School of Music, where he received the “Slam” Stewart full tuition scholarship award. He has performed in venues such as Carnigie Hall, the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing China, and the Seoul Arts Center in Seoul Korea. He is an active private cello and double bass instructor and he is certified to teach music in schools. Eddie is currently a member of the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra, an annual member or the SpoletoUSA festival orchestra and a finalist for the New World Symphony.
