Emily Kalish is an experienced orchestral and chamber musician, and has played under the batons of great conductors such as Kurt Masur and JoAnn Falletta and coached by members of the Juilliard, Orion, Brentano, Borromeo, Miami, Colorado, and Ying Quartets. Emily has been teaching privately since 2005. Emily molds her techniques to the interests, needs, and learning styles of each student. Her teaching is influenced by her Suzuki teacher training, as well as the pedagogy of Burton Kaplan. Her aim is to give students of all ages the tools and skills they need to be happy, successful, and independent musicians.
