David Leigh’s multifaceted musical experience includes work as a singer, composer, conductor, copyist, and administrator for such renowned venues as the Metropolitan Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has been commissioned to compose for the Atticus Brass Ensemble, the Yale School of Music, and the Tender Trap Theatre Company in London. David sings in a variety of genres, including opera, musical theater, and jazz. He has developed his own teaching methodology for approaching the voice from a technical perspective, influenced by his work in the biology department at Yale.
