Britton Matthews is an established freelance percussionist active in contemporary chamber music across the US, specializing in keyboard and contemporary orchestral percussion. Britton is the principal percussionist of the critically-acclaimed Metropolis Ensemble and Lost Dog New Music Ensemble, and she is a member of Exit 9 Percussion Group. She is regularly featured at the historic Players Theatre in New York in Off-Broadway productions including Phantom of the Opera. Britton has more than ten years of teaching experience across Texas, New Jersey and New York.
