B.Mus Wesley Institute, Composition/Classical Guitar Performance
Before moving to the United States, Ben Lahring held the post of University Music Lecturer at Wesley Institute in Sydney, Australia, having been offered the position prior to his official graduation. His performance experience includes classical recitals, government dinner functions, luxury hotel performance residencies, and musical theatre orchestra pits. Ben has also toured Australia and NYC as electric guitarist and/or bass player with rock bands, choirs, and soul-singing divas. Ben thoroughly believes that the best way to teach a student is to encourage a love for what is being taught!
