Ben Tyree, praised as "an accomplished jazz guitarist" (The Washington Post, 2005) and "hi-caliber player" (Jazz Times, 2009) has performed at high profile venues such as The Blue Note, The Apollo, Joe's Pub, The B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, and The Kennedy Center with artists Kyp Malone (TV On The Radio), The Family Stand, Clark Terry, Vernon Reid (Living Colour, Yohimbe Brothers), Frank Foster, Delfeayo Marsalis, DJ Logic, and Elliot Sharp. Tyree has produced music for ESPN and Green Team Advertising; studied guitar with Mike Stern and Paul Bollenback; instructed workshops at Howard University, Columbia University and teaches privately.
